01 — FROM THE DIRECTOR
“The equipment we build sits inside other people’s plants for twenty or thirty years. That is the only horizon worth designing for.”
When a customer calls us, they rarely want a tank or a blower. They want a plant that stays inside its consent limits, a line that does not stop for corrosion, and one supplier who answers for all of it. That has been the job since 1977.
We have kept the company deliberately engineering-led. Our proposals are sized in simulation, our laminates are designed to a code, and our fans are tested before they leave the plant. It is slower than quoting off a price list, and it is why so many of our customers have come back for a second site and a third.

03 — OUR STORY
Five decades, told through the work.
Two of our early customers placed repeat orders within two years of their first installation. That pattern is the company.
1977
FOUNDED
Bhavi Plast is established in Thane to design and build FRP process equipment, at a time when almost every Indian plant still specified rubber-lined steel.
1998
FIRST ENGINEERED SCRUBBER
Our first fully engineered packed bed scrubber system, for an anodising plant — the start of the air pollution control business.
2001
ELECTROCHEMICAL EXHAUST
Acid and alkali exhaust for an imaging plate line, followed by a repeat order at twice the scale six years later.
2005
FIRST EXPORT
Dust collection for an integrated steel plant in Abu Dhabi — our first overseas installation, and a repeat order the following year.
2008
MATERIAL HANDLING AT SCALE
Dust collection across six DRI transfer nodes, extending the export base in the Gulf.
2009
FLUE GAS DESULPHURISATION
Two-stage FGD enters the portfolio, removing SO₂ and soot from an oil-fired furnace.
2012
PROCESS PACKAGES
Blower and storage tank packages for a viscose fibre plant, broadening the product mix beyond pollution control.
2019
THERMOPLASTIC FABRICATION
Thick-panelled thermoplastic tanks for an electrochemical process, adding fully welded thermoplastic work alongside FRP.
2022
NUCLEAR-GRADE EXHAUST
A Ø 3,000 × 50,000 mm exhaust stack for a public-sector nuclear facility, with documentation to match.

Emissions are the product
Every system we build exists to keep a plant inside its consent limits. We design to meet the limit with margin, not just on the day of the stack test.
Safe fabrication
Ventilated lamination areas, controlled resin and solvent handling, and personal protective equipment as standard on the shop floor.
Safe installation
Work-at-height, lifting and confined-space procedures for every site crew, and permit-to-work compliance at customer plants.
Longer life, less waste
Corrosion-resistant equipment that lasts decades replaces metal equipment that would be scrapped and rebuilt several times over.

Exporting since 2005.
About a tenth of what we build leaves India. Our first overseas installation, a dust collection system for a steel plant in Abu Dhabi, led to a repeat order the following year.
