Ducting, hoods, dampers and stacks for complete exhaust systems

The parts that decide whether the scrubber ever sees the fume. FRP and thermoplastic ducting, capture hoods, dampers, stacks and supports, designed to ACGIH and checked in CFD.

01 — CONFIGURATIONS

Everything between the source and the sky.

Balance of plant is where exhaust systems quietly fail — hoods that do not capture, ducts that are out of balance, stacks that are too short. We design it with the equipment, not after it.
TYPE 01
FRP and PP ducting
Round and rectangular ducting, bends, transitions and expansion joints.
FRP · PP · PVC
TYPE 02
Capture hoods and LEV
Canopy, slot, lip and push-pull hoods designed for capture velocity.
ACGIH
TYPE 03
Dampers
Manual and actuated dampers for isolation and balancing.
MANUAL · ACTUATED
TYPE 04
Exhaust stacks
Self-supporting and guyed FRP stacks with platforms and sampling ports.
TO Ø 3,000 × 50,000 MM
02 — SPECIFICATION

The envelope, in numbers.

Static head loss is worked out on in-house tools to ACGIH, and flow is checked in SolidWorks Flow Simulation before layout is frozen.

03 — APPLICATIONS

Where balance of plant matters most

Scrubber systems
Hoods, ducting and stack around packed bed and FGD scrubbers
Process lines
Plating, pickling, anodising and etching line exhaust
Nuclear and research
High-integrity exhaust for fuel fabrication and laboratories
Steel
Primary and secondary melt shop exhaust
04 — HOW WE SIZE IT

Four things an exhaust system has to get right.

Capture at the source. Hood type and capture velocity chosen for how the fume is released.
Duct velocity and balance. Each branch drawing its design airflow, with dampers set at commissioning.
Static loss. Every fitting counted, so the fan is sized for the real system.
Stack height and structure. Height to statutory norms, structure designed for wind.

07 — QUESTIONS

What engineers ask us first

These answers are also written for search. Each question is a query buyers type into Google, which is why the FAQ block sits on every equipment page.

Why buy ducting from the scrubber supplier?+
Because the fan is sized on the whole system. When ducting and equipment come from different suppliers, nobody owns the static loss, and the system underperforms.
Can FRP stacks go to 50 metres?+
Yes. We have executed a Ø 3,000 × 50,000 mm FRP exhaust stack.
Do you design push-pull exhaust?+
Yes, for pickling, plating and anodising lines, designed with the tanks.
Can you rebalance an existing system?+
Yes. Our service team can survey airflows at each hood and rebalance or modify the ducting.
