Six ways we keep a system running.
Every service engagement starts with the original design basis, which we keep on file for every unit we have built.

Spares & replacement parts
Impellers, packing media, spray nozzles, demisters, gaskets, bearings, filter bags and cartridges — matched to the original design.

Retrofits & upgrades
Capacity increases, extra stages, re-rated blowers and new hoods when the process changes.

Annual maintenance contracts
Scheduled inspection and preventive maintenance, with a named engineer who knows the system.

Inspection & re-lining
Laminate condition surveys, repair and re-lining of tanks, scrubbers and ducting.

Performance testing
Airflow, pressure and removal efficiency measured against the design, with a written report.

02 — WHEN TO CALL US
Eight signs a system needs attention.
Most failures announce themselves months in advance. These are the early signs worth a phone call.
Stack emissions above the limit
Usually liquor ratio, packing condition or dosing — rarely the tower itself.
Weak suction at the hoods
Duct imbalance, a blocked branch, or a fan running off its curve.
Blower vibration or noise
Impeller build-up, bearing wear, or erosion of the blades.
Tank weeping or blistering
Corrosion barrier attack — inspect before it becomes structural.
Packing fouled or collapsed
Rising pressure drop across the bed and falling efficiency.
Liquor carry-over at the stack
A damaged or undersized mist eliminator.
Laminate cracking or discolouration
Chemical or thermal attack worth surveying early.
A process change or expansion
New chemistry or more flow than the system was designed for.
